Back Soon

I have been MIA lately and just wanted to say that I'll be back soon. It's been nice taking a little break from blogging, but I miss you all very much and hope to be visiting soon.

I am also trying to figure out an alternative way to upload photos to my blog. I'm getting the following message:

Whoops! You're out of space. You are currently using 100% of your 1 GB quota for photos. Upgrade storage Photos are stored in your Picasa Web Albums account and are included in your 1 GB free quota for photos. Additional storage you purchase is shared between several Google products and is in addition to your free quota. Learn more

In the meantime, I am using flickr, but not sure how that's going to work out. Maybe I'll fork out the extra dough for more storage. How do you out there in blog land upload your photos? Any good ideas?

Hi Heidi,

You have been missed and like you, my quota was up too. I ended up paying a couple of dollars, to continue blogging.
Hope all is well with you and Maximius.

Happy week
hugs
Carolyn

HEIDI! I got the same message about two months ago now. It is BLOGGER; you need to switch over to GOOGLE +. With that, you get an enormous amount of photo storage space. I have missed you my dear! Anita

Heidi! hello! nice to see you. i saw your post last evening but was getting my post completed at the time and didn't go to you after. sorry sorry, i'm a dork, huh? any way, i just read Anita's comment. (she is so smart) and i guess that is the remedy. i had picasa freak out on me earlier (august) and went to Photobucket instead and i love them. That is how i learned to do all my graphics myself. good luck. i agree with Anita but i don't do G+ yet. seems too unnecessary at this point, but hey, i don't know.

hug M for me and give him a light, gentle kiss on the forehead from his auntie nae, k?

love to you!

HI HEIDI!

YES, Google + is the way to go. Karen Harvey Cox at Scrapbook of Inspiration showed me how. It is simple. Go into your dashboard. Look for "JOIN GOOGLE +" and from that point on, via Google +, Blogger will allow you to store more photos for FREE! There is a huge space there for good sized photos. There is no need for you to buy any space. Email me if you need more details; I will be around today until 2:00 my time! Anita

Heidi! nope! not amazon, but i will. how high is yours? they had 50" ones but we felt that was too short. 4' is too low right. or does the camera compensate? see? i am still learning. thank you for your enthusiasm. (hug)

Bloggers normally understand how life sometimes gets in the way of posting. We're here. We're always here.

Heidi! thanks! thank so much for visiting. i love your comments!!! yes, i have a tripod finally but still out of focus. i think it was the lighting vs. shutter speed. i don't usually worry about shutter speed, but this new camera has a shutter speed setting [fancyee].

big (hug), from your friend!!!! :D
