Happy Weekend/Update

Beautiful Roses from Rob & Maximus

I thought I'd give an update on my pregnancy:

- I'm at 13 1/2 weeks.

- Last Wednesday we got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the 1st time.

- I'm still feeling nauseous. Sometimes it's all day. But most of the time, it's in the afternoons and evenings. It makes it tough to figure out what to eat for dinner.

- Still very tired. I look forward to M's naptime so I can catch a few zz's most days.

- Speaking of Maximus...if you ask him what's in my tummy, he'll say, baby. He'll kiss my tummy and lay his head on me. Very sweet.

- We plan to find out the sex of the baby, which will be the 2nd week in April! Rob is convinced it's a boy. I'm thinking it might be a girl.

That's about it. I hope you're all having a good weekend. I've gotta run. My Mom is going to pick me up soon for a dessert & tea at her church. It should be fun.

xoxo

Very beautiful roses for a beautiful gal! Love that little Maximus! He will make a good big brother for a brother or a sister. Hoping for a girl, but God knows what is the very best for you. So, thank you for a good time at the tea, and all the laughs on the way home. It is a little hard to drive when one is laughing so hard! Love you! Mom

THIS is exciting, Heidi! I have a dear colleague who was married about two years ago now, and is PREGNANT TOO! She teaches the first grade and finds herself so sick all the day long. It is hard enough to teach NOT being pregnant!

I cannot wait to find out the sex. Hmmmm.....Maximus is going to be an awesome big brother! LOVE! Anita

Hi Heidi,

The roses are so beautiful and always a treat to get them.
Do hope the nausea passes and you feel better. Exciting times for your little family.

Have a happy week

oh Heidi! You knew I was pushing 60, didn't you? I could have sworn I had told you that? Oh well, thank you my sweet for your nice words. It is a hallmark, milestone birthday for me, but still I don't feel or act old enough to be 60! I am too dang young at heart that's for dang sure. I only feel old when I can't remember something I did just about 2 minutes earlier. [short term memory loss runs rapid] hahhahahaha.

Those roses my friend, are just gorgeous.

I hope you are well this morning and getting used to it all!

Thank you for visiting and commenting on my illustration! It is not my best, but rather a quick attempt to draw two friends eating ice cream! I have another idea that I will make today that may be better and that I will put in my shop!

Love to you! Anita

These are beautiful roses, Heidi. What a nice surprise from husband and Maximus. You know, I didn't know the sex of my babies until they were born! I was so overjoyed when they were laid in my arms. I had really bad morning sickness with Nel, and with each one it got a little better. Take care of yourself, sweet one, as you have a blessed one inside you now.

Good morning Heidi!

Ya think that illustration could be a card? Hmmmm...I tried once again yesterday with two more ideas, but this drawing attempt is really requiring many hours of trying to get it just right. PRACTICE PRACTICE!

Good to see you. Hope today is a calm and comfortable day for you my sweet friend! Anita

oh Heidi! You are so nice to me. Sometimes I am serious but ya, that's no fun. My Mom and her Dad were young at heart. I think that is where I get it.

I see you stopped by Mary's and she finally updated her blog. At this rate we'll see her again at Easter, hahahaha. She just has too much on her plate now days.

Take care and keep a growing that new one. I am so happy M is going to have a sib! Yay!
