These Boys

Rob was blowing the leaves out of the driveway last weekend, so the boys had fun watching him through the window.

These two run me ragged at times, but moments like these melt my heart and make it all worthwhile.

Hope you are all doing well!

Happy Sunday!

THERE YOU ARE! Heidi, I have missed you so much. Your posts have been sorely missed, but here you are! I know how life can get in the way of posting regularly; my current post is staying up until the first week of December because I simply do not have time to put up another one. I hope people will be patient with me!

I was honored by a student this past Monday at a merit scholars' award ceremony. Each scholar had to invite a teacher who has impacted their academic career...it was so great to see my little student now a young man, and be so articulate. These boys are gonna make you cry all your life, bringing you joy. Happy Thanksgiving dear sister! Anita

Heidi,
I saw this picture on my blog, and had to come straight over and say hello. This is just precious, and definitely a treasured picture. I do wish you would frame this. It is truly wonderful.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Heidi. I'm so thankful for you and your delightful boys, who brighten my days.

love,
~Sheri

husband and son are putting up the lights on our house today, and I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit around here.

Good morning dear Heidi!

Thank you my sister, for coming to visit the turkey (that header photo I'm using cracks me up...) and for leaving such a kind word. Our Thanksgivings are small and uneventful since family is far away and our elders are gone. But that's life, isn't it?

May YOUR Thanksgiving be a blessed one, as I know my will be with my beloved. HAPPY DAY! Anita

...are a sight for sore eyes.

Thanksgiving blessings to all of you, dear Heidi.
I bet Kooky's hiding under the covers...just in case someone should be bird blind and mistake a chicken for a turkey. ;)

Good morning sweet sister! I am here enjoying reading my blog comments, and there you are...so good to see you here in blogland, and isn't that incredible that my mom's pic reminds you of your grandmother! I must see this photo! That was back in '65, and how elegantly my mom dressed. I will always remember the pink organza apron she used to wear when they entertained, and the care that went into serving up meals. I remember especially during holiday parties, those sugar-coated jelled Christmas mints...how vivid my memories are....

Wishing you and the entire family a wonderful day. Give your MOTHER A HUGE HUG FOR ME! Love, Anita

HEIDI, my sister! Good morning to you!

I am so happy to see your visit on my post this morning, but oh my dear, you are sick? I hope everyone is on the mend? This is such a rushed but fun time of year, and I so wish you a speedy recovery AND a restful celebration. I have one more week of instruction then it's finals then TWO WEEKS OFF! Oh Lord, thank you!

And your mom agrees that our mothers do resemble one another! It is the hairstyle and that smile....wild, isn't it!!!!

My sweet friend, get well. Wishing you much love! Anita
