Easter Re-Cap

I'm so late in doing a post for Easter. One of my dear friends come over and we colored eggs on Good Friday while Rob prepared all of us a delicious dinner.

Maximus was more interested in cracking the eggs right away after he colored them.

I opted for a less mess version with Santino and gave him a container with some water, along with an egg and a paintbrush. He had fun stirring the eggs and mashing them up.

Here's the eggs that passed the cracking. It's weird, but the pink dye would not take. Boo! It could have been because I forgot to add warm water and used cold instead.

Saturday we went to an Easter Egg hunt that our church was putting on. It was at a park and there were 5,500 eggs filled with candy. There was a lot of time and effort put into this event and the decorations were adorable. The boys got to enjoy a donut before the hunt began.

The 4 of us! So fun...we've never done a big Easter egg hunt before.

Maximus was on it and had a ball chasing after the eggs.

It was a whole new game for Santino, but he had Papa there to help him out. Later we went to out to eat and had a nice brunch.

Sunday morning the boys came downstairs to their baskets filled with some chocolate and a few toys. Then we had an Easter egg hunt in the living room before we headed off to church.

After that we went over to Rob's parents' house and celebrated with them.

The boys had fun playing outside with their cousin, Sydney.

Maximus & Syd enjoyed time in the hammock. Some things never get old.

Santino was more into playing catch with Grandpa BoBo. This little guy is a leftie, for sure!

And just for good measure, there was one more Easter Egg hunt. Aren't these three cute together?

There you have it.
It was a fun filled weekend celebrating one of my favorite Holidays!

He personally carried the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross so that we can be finished with sin and live a good life from now on. For his wounds have healed ours!
