I love THIS face!

This is a recurring theme that I'm seeing in photos lately...look at that little tongue...haha

He also bites his bottom lip, which TOTALLY reminds me of Rob, who does the same thing.

Sweetness...

 And there is that tongue again...

 My baby is finally SLEEPING in his CRIB! This is the 3rd day and it's going well...more on that in a later post.

And that little tongue again. It's almost like he does it on purpose!

At least he's a little more subtle about it these days. Here he is at 2 months old, as "Dopey" from The 7 Dwarfs blog post.

Silly Boy

 

 

The other day, I noticed that Maximus was "wearing" one of his toys. It made me laugh...he gets this teething ring up around his arm. 

So, yesterday I got a photo of his shoulder accessory. haha...

I've also seen him wear his set of toy keys, as a bracelet. Hmmm...maybe he's onto something. Perhaps a jewelry line for babies? Silly Boy!

A New Sport for Maximus

"Hey Kooky...I think I found a new sport that I'd like to try."

"What now, Maximus?"

"Football!"

"Come here, Kooky & I'll demonstrate."

"Oh no! Why does this seem all too reminiscent of wrestling, Maximus?"

"Tackle!!!"

24 Weeks

Last weekend we started feeding Maximus some rice cereal. He kept grabbing for the spoon, so it made it difficult to get into his mouth, but he did a great job. Towards the end of the feeding, he started getting the hang of it more and would open his mouth.

The other day Rob noticed that some birds caught Maximus' attention outside.

Besides talking and laughing...M is starting to whisper. It's really funny! Kind of hard to explain, but he does this "rahhh, rahhh, rahhh" kind of thing. His little voice is so cute. I tell Rob that he reminds me of an Ewok from Star Wars. haha...

He continues to be the BEST shopper. I can go to the grocery store or do other shopping and he is content in his car carrier/seat. As long as he has a full tummy and a clean diaper.

So fun - ALL of these new little discoveries...

Going for a Drive

"What are we going to do today, Kooky? I'm SO bored!"

"I wish we could drive to the beach." (sigh)

"Let's do it Maximus! We just need to grab the car keys. They are right over there."

"Really, Kooky?"

"Are you sure that's a good idea, Kooky? I'm not very good with directions. I'd probably get us lost."

"No problem, Maximus. I was born with an internal GPS so I'll be able to navigate for us."

 "Okay, Kooky. No funny business, here. You better know what you're doing!!!"

23 Weeks

Maximus continues to kick like crazy, roll over, talk, laugh and now he's starting to sit on his own for short spurts. It is so fun to watch his development. I'm thinking once he starts crawling, I'm going to get a really good workout chasing him down.

Oh My Aching Neck...

"My neck is hurting me today. Do you know of anything that will help it, Maximus?"

"Kooky, you came to the right guy! I'm a Licensed Chiropractor."

"So, I know that I can fix you."

Oh boy...should I trust the one that about tore off my neck in those wrestling matches?

"You do feel a little tight in those shoulder muscles, Kooky. Just give me a minute and you'll be feeling like your old self again."

"This is a new maneuver that I learned in Chiropractic College. It should do wonders for you!"

"Hold on Kooky...I'm almost done."

"Now, just a little more pressure to the head and you should be as good as new."

"Okay, Maximus...I'll let you know when I can move again..."
