We took Maximus to his very 1st Dentist appointment on Monday. He cried when it came time to getting his teeth brushed and flossed, but it was over in less than 2 minutes. I'm sure most adults wished that their appointments only lasted that long!
His teeth looked good overall. He's got 16 total and is waiting for 4 molars. Maximus still loves brushing his teeth and likes doing it by himself. I have a difficult time trying to "help" him. He responds better to Rob and let's him get in there most of the time to give a quick brush in the areas he misses.
Here he is before his appointment, having fun in the play room.
I Love this face! It's one of the many close up shots I have of him. When he's this close, it's usually because he wants the camera, or in this case, my cell phone. And by the way, his eyes are not really this dark. They are more of a blueish, greenish, hazel color.
Thanks for your sweet comments about my last post and the photos of Maximus that I took. I plan to get one of them printed on canvas and will keep you posted on how it turns out.

HEIDI MY DEAR! Good morning my dear friend! Oh, what a brave boy he is! I remember being deathly afraid of the dentist as a young child, but actually liking it as a teenager, because I was getting braces!
Well my dear, he is just getting so big now, and what will he be like as a first grader, middle schooler? WOW, I cannot wait to find out.

Now she loves going for cleanings...but every child is different...not my thing at all! :))

Babies going to dentists is so great these days. When I was a young mom (from 78 - 90) I only took my girls to the dentist when they were getting ready for kindergarten! Rotten teeth by then, my friend! Now my grands go at age 2 and have crowns on when they are 3. My goodness I hope he is a bit more brave next time. He will have a beautiful head-full of teeth when an adult.
Yes last weekend was too full of drama. I have more pics from that day but issuing them out slowly, because I am leery of my winter scene photographic skills coming up. yikes. hahahaha.
