Firsts at the Playground

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day! So after we hit a couple of stores, M & I went to a playground!

The building in the background is the swim pool where we're going to take our class.

He loved checking out the equipment

And he got to try out the slide...

But this is what I was really excited to see... His first time in a swing by himself.

You can get a sense of how little he really is.

Love this look...he's got "attitude"...haha...

We started out slow...

But he was happiest when I gave him some good pushes.

This boy LOVES speed!

I hope you have a great weekend. Any fun plans? I just downed almost a pint of coffee ice cream. And it was OH, so GOOD!

Happy day!

Oooo, a pint? No problem. This little 115 lb woman can down a pint in the heat with no problem....EXCEPT for that I am now LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!! Oh how I miss PEACH ICE CREAM1

HEIDI, HE IS STARTING HIS SWIM CLASSES!!! He looks a bit sleepy in the first several shots, but then when you applied THE SPEED, he sure got a smile on his face! I used to tell my BOYS, "Comment se fait-il que les garçcons survivent?" teeeheee...meaning, "HOW IS IT THAT BOYS SURVIVE?" The falls the bumps, the clashes, the WHATEVA.....those boys LOVE ACTION! And I can see it in his darling little face.

Well, we just about had THE PERFECT DAY yesterday in weather. 75 degrees, PUFFY white clouds, intense blue skies....wow. I AM GRATEFUL!!!!

Have a super day my friend! Oh, today is my turn to clean that shower.....eeek!

And what a pleasure to have met you, dear Heidi...and your sweet little M!
I see some dear faces up above as well!
Gosh, we have mostly moved beyond the playground stage (although I still love to play there!)
Those are some of the best memories...
I love how his face changes into such joy once he gets moving!
So cute...
Like Anita...a pint of ice cream, especially coffee...no problem! heee...
Enjoy the weekend!

M is so dang cute. I had to go back and re-watch his video with the chair. I love how he tries so hard to get in but a mysterious hand appears to boost him.

My purse is awesome. I just always end up with Nine West purses. That match me. They have me at "hello". hahaha.

Yes, my sister is fun and funny. She always says, "Renae, you are my best sister!" excuse me, I am her only sister, but I'll take best, too. hahaha. I'm glad you have your Mom as a confidant- female in your life.

Keep me laughing, girl, keep me laughing. I love your site!!

Oh my, almost a pint of coffee ice cream?!? Watch out Mr. M. and Kooky, you've got competition. ;)

Heidi, I'm so glad we met, and I am even happier that we met through our beautiful friend, Anita. Makes it all the more special, doesn't it.

Enjoy your weekend, love.

HI Heidi!!!
Max is adorable in his little hat!!!!His smile is so cute...our grand son and Max would be so fun together...Liam is a tad bit small for his age.....in the 50th percentile...and his height is 90th...so I guess he is just tall and thin!!!!
Glad you had a nice sunny day.....HOT and Sunny here...over 110 again!!!

At first I thought Maximus didn't like the swing.....BUT THEN.....the SPEED! He sure changed is expression when you got the motor going on the swing. So cute, all the expressions. All the pictures keep Rob experiencing things you do while he is hard at work. You are a great Mom. Everyone should be blessed with a girl. I am glad God gave us YOU!

That little Maximus!! I can hear my Daddy saying that to his Great Grandson..."M"!
