Summer Still Lives

photo: Taken at Al's Garden Center earlier in June

Most people have declared summer is over, but I just wanted to clarify that it "officially" ends September 21st. (At least for us in the Northern Hemisphere).

I realize that the day after Labor Day and the starting of the school year gives way to feelings that summer is behind us, but let's not cut it short!

Nope...I'm NOT ready for it to end. We are having beautiful weather in our neck of the woods. How about you? My flowers are still blooming and the sun has been shining for a couple of months now.

Join with me! Let's protest Fall, until midnight on 9/21/12.

Happy day!
hi-d

Sounds great to me - girlfriend!

I love September in Utah. After a long hot summer, September temperatures are lovely, divine and very welcomed.

Around here summer isn't over until Halloween...

I totally agree....Sept. 21, bring it on. I love September....slightly cooler, yet still very pretty. Our mountains begin to have trees turn colors and that is beautifu l for now..especially since here in lower level IT"S STILL summer!

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!

I AM WITH YOU! Even though I had to dump my flowers from their pots, it is still sunny, warm enough to go out in shorts and LOVELY!

School did start yesterday in the district I worked for, and all I did was THINK briefly about how I do NOT have to go in to plan a THING! HAPPINESS abounds in my heart.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY SWEET! I know how those weekends go when you just want to do NOTHING but hang out with the ones you love. ENJOY THIS NEW DAY! Anita

Hi-d,
I couldn't agree with you more! It's still hot here!! Still need air conditioning. My son will be wearing shorts to school through October as usual. (Sacramento area, California) Tomorrow I leave for Vegas with my BFF and we will be poolside for sure!!! It's not over until it's over!!

Dear friend!

THANK YOU for coming to visit! This has been one of the busiest summers, has it not? Though I am NO LONGER IN SCHOOL full-time, it is a scramble to try to create and produce and sell and today, I actually go into an orientation for new substitutes, a new adventure that I will begin next week!!!!

HUGS TO YOU DEAR FRIEND, Anita
