Maximus Turns 3 Today!

Dear Maximus,

Our world was forever changed when you came into our lives 3 years ago today. We cannot imagine a day without you! You've brought so much joy and love to those around you.

  • You're a kind hearted, fun, and silly boy.
  • You love your "mackies" (blankies), especially your froggy one.
  • Music is your passion - even at this young age, we can see that it is woven into the fiber of your being.
  • We love watching you sing along to songs, dance and play the drums.
  • You are intelligent, thoughtful & conscientious.
  • Santino is blessed to have an amazing big brother.
  • You love playing with cars, trucks, trains, cardboard boxes, as well as other random items around the house that you use to build or create things.
  • You're always eager to help us around the house & with Santino.
  • We're glad that you enjoy drawing, coloring, painting & play dough! Mama does too!
  • Most evenings and weekends you can be found having fun wrestling with Papa (and Santino) or playing with a ball.
  • Maximus, you have a style all your own and enjoy wearing your hats. (oftentimes indoors)
  • At the end of a prayer, you like ending it with a big "AMEN," while your arms reach up overhead, like you're cheering.
  • You also share a birthday with your Grandpa BoBo (Rob's Dad). That's so cool that you guys can celebrate together. Happy Birthday, Bernie! Hope you had a wonderful day!

There are so many other things we could say about you. You will always be Mama's "baby heart."

Happy Birthday!!!
Love you to the moon & back!

Mama & Papa
p.s. Santino loves you SOOOOOO much!

Ahhhhhh.....I am finally here, to see Mr. M. in all his three-year old GLORY! And I mean, GLORY! Look at this guy? How did it happen? How does it all ever happen, to see these youngsters grow before our eyes, while we stay the same? (HAHAHAHA!)

I love this little man's ways, Heidi. I can just tell by your description AND by his look that he is all those great things. I just got such a charge the first day you shared how he loves to water the garden, and how he enjoys helping his little brother. God, thank you for these little boys who will one day be a lucky little girl's husband.

Thank you Heidi, for coming over. YOU GOT A LITTLE SNOW? Oh, be careful on the ice, OK? It can be treacherous, so drive very slowly and watch out for the other guy on the road! BIG HUGS! Anita

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAXIMUS!!! (Always Maxi in my heart.)

What a special post, Heidi. It's wonderful to write those memories and special things that make Maximus Maximus. Your recognition of his gift of music made me cry of course. I noticed it that early in our son too. May he always use it for God's glory.

Many blessings to all...and AMEN! (Arms up cheering.) =D

Dad said that you could go to work for "Jack-In-The-Box" when he saw the balloon. :)

Happy Birthday Maximus! You are such a special boy, indeed.

Heidi, these pictures of Maximus and the blue balloon are priceless. I smiled at every one of them.

Love,
