She turns 76 years old. Doesn't she look GREAT? I couldn't ask for a better Mother. She is so much fun - loves Jesus her family and has a tendency to hug strangers. Yes, she's THAT friendly. Okay, not that she just goes up to completely random people and gives them a hug. Basically to sum it up, she has a heart of gold, is goofy, extremely active and loves life!
And Mom, you don't have to leave me a comment. I pretty much know what you will say...lots of mush and gush. heehee...
Mr. Maximus wanted to send you some love as well...

Aw, look at those delicate puffed sleeves. Fashion back then was just so 'feminine'. I can't wear a skirt these days, our 2yo keeps flicking it up to play under there. LOL.
BON ANNIVERSAIRE MADAME! Oh Heidi, your mom is SO BEAUTIFUL! And wow, do you look like her! I can see it now. She has got to be one of those special people that you see and you can catch a glimpse of heaven....I have several friends like that that when you see them, you think, "I see Jesus."
I am glad to hear that you hot temps are subsiding. WOW I cannot take the heat. But yesterday here, it was PERFECT....around 75. Another fine day today, Sunday, before Ruben is off to work, but MOI? TEEEHEEE....I AM FREE AS A BIRD FOR A LONG WHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So glad the weather is milder...I feel like we have so much catching up to do here, in terms of summer activities...spent almost all of July in air conditioning!
Today was a gorgeous one in the 70's...we attended a Japanese festival outdoors...

I also enjoyed the folks at church singing Happy Birthday right after I got through playing the postlude on the organ. I love you...kiss Maximus for me! XXXXX
OH MY!!!!!!!! YOU REALLY LOOK ALIKE! I cannot believe her; she looks about the same age as some of my friends in their 50s. She has such a bright and brilliant countenance and I KNOW WHY!!! I God accords me long days on this earth, I hope I can look as radiant! THANK YOU DEAR for coming to visit last night! I had a fantastic Sunday night. A dear young neighbor on the corner (she is new to the neighborhood) that we just met on our National Night Out is a HARPIST! She agreed to come over for a few minutes to help me with a new song I am teaching myself. She unlocked the mysteries for me! THEN Ruben and I stayed up rather late enjoying some OLD MUSIC from the 60s (Beatles, Mamas and the Papas, The Animals, Rolling Stones) and I could not go to sleep...I was having too much fun!!!!

I wish my MOM lived closer to me......I see her at elast once per year....sometimes twice....but NOT enough ......like my second daughter who lives far away...I often wonder if she misses me like I miss my MOM........I wish all families lived in the same city....or better same Neighborhood..I know family might get on some of your Or MY nerves....but that is when you go away!!!On Vacation!!!LOL
